The company Robert Röntgen GmbH & Co. was founded in 1899 by Robert RÖNTGEN in Remscheid, the centre of the German tool manufacturing industry. Right from the beginning we were manufacturing and distributing metal cutting saw blades. Today, after a century of industry leading product and process development, RÖNTGEN is one of the most respected companies world-wide manufacturing bimetal and carbide tipped band saw blades.RÖNTGEN enjoys a strong reputation for the high quality and consistency of its products. This is backed up by strict conformity with the philosophy and procedures of ISO 9001:2000 certification. Our state of the art and recently extended production plant and associated commercial and testing facilities let us stand at the forefront of the industry. Our bimetal product range provides comprehensive coverage of the blade widths, tooth geometries and pitches to address the broad spectrum of sawing applications. Bi-alfa cobalt M42, bi-alfa cobalt M51, bi-alfa Matrix2 and our specialised Master and RP variants as well as our WS satisfy even the most demanding cutting applications. For more specialised applications, particularly where high cutting rates on difficult-to-cut materials are involved, RÖNTGEN manufactures HM-Titan, a precision ground multi chip Tungsten Carbide tipped band saw blade range. Our customers can benefit from a long experience and most recent production technology, which ensure a more consistent and rugged product.
When toothed band saw blades cannot cope with hard and abrasive materials such as glass, tyres or graphite, the RÖNTGEN Grit range will successfully resolve the problem. Blade widths to suit most popular sawing machines are available in a choice of different grain sizes. To round out the RÖNTGEN programms, we manufacture a full range of the traditional carbon steel band saw blades. Type RRR (flexback) for non-ferrous and wood cutting and type RRR-Plus (hardback) for steel cutting.
